BLOOMFIELD, September 24, 2013- Cardiology and heart health will be the topic of the next Art and Science of Graceful Aging series. The meeting will take place October 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Duncaster Retirement Community in Bloomfield. Attendance is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
The October 24 session will cover heart health and will be presented by Anthony LaSala, MD. Dr. LaSala’s practice and specialty are cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He is a graduate of New York Medical College where he earned his MD at Adelphi University. Dr. LaSala is Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine and serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Cardiology at the University of Connecticut’s School of medicine. Dr. LaSala conducted his internship and fellowship at Hartford Hospital with an emphasis on cardiology.
The meeting is part of Duncaster’s “The Art and Science of Graceful Aging,” which is presented to the community by Hartford Hospital. Future sessions will be led by Robert Dicks, MD, FACP, and Courtland Lewis, MD.
